Progressive Community Outreach (PCO) is currently seeking individuals, and more specifically, growing adolescents for Progressive's 2022 Summer Program. The educational program will be broken into the two crucial components of Job Readiness Training and Community Engagement, with additional themes of leadership development, measurable goal-setting, financial literacy, self-care, and the power of positivity being implemented each week. To support these crucial tactics and life lessons, engaging outings will be conducted by knowledgeable, supportive PCO Mentors & Staff, including:
PCO’s Summer Program primarily aims to increase each participants knowledge and skill set based off diverse attributes. As a result, they will acquire a means to reach individual-based improvement surrounding professional functioning within the workforce. The skill set will encompass the following:
- -Local hiking opportunities
- -Museum tours
- -Game/Recreation days (basketball, kickball, volleyball)
- -Swimming explorations
- -Cooking classes, and more
